What We Do Acme
Surplus Machinery Inc. is a company dedicated to the buying and selling of
surplus process machinery used in the production of pulp and paper.
Additionally, we provide services such as consignments, investment recovery,
appraisals and marketing strategies to provide our customers with the highest
return on their capital investment. Acme
can be a one-stop source of equipment, too. Our network of associates and
contacts are worldwide. If we don’t have what our customers are looking for
today, we can usually find it in a day or two. Our
years of experience are a benefit to our friends and customers. We can evaluate
their inventory and establish values consistent with present market conditions.
We have the experience and ability to run liquidations, both long and short
term. We can also advise the best way to handle a particular liquidation, as the
strategy differs depending on the type equipment involved, as well as the market
at the time. Acme is located in South Florida and suburban Philadelphia. Our equipment is stored in our yard just 40 minutes north of Philadelphia International Airport, or at mills and sites worldwide. We have cooperative agreements with engineers to provide our customers services other companies in our industry often are unable to offer, often free of charge. Acme reaches its many customers via mailings, with over 10,000 names world wide, by fax and via the Internet. This home page attracts visitors from all corners of the globe and various industries and governmental agencies.
