conveyor; 2) Stacks and counts the number of reams in the stack; 3) Forms a
Tray-Case corrugated blank around the stacks; and 4) Glues, shapes and
discharges the Tray-Case onto a conveyor for labeling and lidding. Date of
manufacture is 1979. Rated for seven trays per minute. Both dual and single
stack capable. Purchased used and placed in service in 1997. Decommissioned
in 2002.

32" x 175", but can do up to 34" x 200" if journals are not too long. This
grinder grinds straight as well as parabolic (crowned) rolls. Grinder is
presently set up for diamond belts, not wet stone grinding ( this is most
common usage when grinding rubber.) This grinder has had many rebuilds
(upgrades) throughout the years. The gears in the headbox (drive gearbox)
are new. The gearbox has been upgraded with a reliance variable speed drive
so you can move the grinding carriage back and forth across the roll at any
speed you desire. The main gearbox motor as well as the grindstone drive
motors have been refurbished. The bed of the grinder has had the ways
scraped and they are in beautiful condition. The drive screw and nut in the
bed are new. This is a twin wheel heavy-duty swingrest grinder. |
