Used 61" Jagenberg Model AS 28 Syncrofly type sheeter. Age 1977. This is a precision sheeter equipped for non-stop operation at the delivery end. It has been sheeting paper board from .008 through .040 thicknesses. Equipped with four Jagenberg shaftless floor pickup unwinds; these unwinds are equipped with 12" core chucks and will accept 72" maximum roll dia. Unwinds are controlled automatically by a combination of load cell and dancer roll tension control. Two unwinds can be utilized while two others are re-loaded with new rolls of paper to minimize downtime. The brakes on these unwinds are air-operated & air-cooled. Following the unwind position, the webs proceed over a Fife steering roll system for web alignment. The web can then proceed over a series of decurlers; there are a total of three decurlers and these are roll type. The sheeter is equipped with shear cut slitting; 3 sets of knives are available. The cutoff range for the sheeter is 21.7" minimum to 79.5" maximum. Following the sheeting head, cut sheets proceed through an overlap system to a layboy section. This layboy can accumulate up to three different stacks at one time and is equipped with jogging. Accuracy on cutoff on a 1 meter sheet length (40") is reported as +/- 1mm. Typical operating speed depends upon sheet length. On a 24" sheet length, speed is approx. 280 FPM; on 2 meters (80"), approx. 590 FPM. Optimum speed is achieved on cutoff lengths of 34" to 63" and at these lengths, speed is 825 FPM. Machine is equipped with a Fortress inline metal detector. The cutoff length is changed by a combination of PIV & gearbox. The layboy is equipped with a set of "forks"; these allow continuous operation while a finished skid of sheets is being removed and an empty skid replaced. These forks hold the accumulating sheets while the change is made. This machine has been sheeting chipboard and coated board products. This machine is going to be released in March 2005. Machine is in operation. Owner reports the mechanical condition of the machine to be excellent. In production & is kept flawless. The owner will load the machine out onto truck for an additional $50,000. Includes reject system. Montalvo automatic tension control systems on unwind.

Used 68" wide Hamblet sheeter fixed bed knife rotary top knife machine complete with a roll stand and stacker. The sheeter has a 69" wide rubber covered feed roll, a motor driven decurler, a stationary bed knife with a rotary top, an all mechanical reeve type sheet length system. All sheet length controls are operator initiated without a feed back system. It appears that all the fiber gears are on hand to cover the full range of sheet lengths. The roll stand has motor driven roll elevator and chuck side frames and a pneumatic brake. The chucks are designed for 12" cores. All roll stand controls are operator initiated.
