width. The main drive runs 0.1 2 rpm. Max capacity for example TMP at 90-100
CFS and inlet consistency of approx. 0,5 % concentration is 150 to 200 tons
per day, outlet consistency is normally 8 - 12 % depending on length of drop
leg. The filter is built around a tubular shaft, containing 20 longitudinal
channels. The shaft acts both as support for the filter discs and as
filtrate outlet. Each disc consists of 20 filter sectors which are connected
to separate channels in the shaft. A filtrate valve at the end of the shaft
regulates the application of vacuum to the different channels and filter
sectors. Vacuum is created by means of a barometric leg of 7-8 m or a vacuum
pump. Pulp discharge: Screw conveyor is missing. 13 discs installed and one
spare place. 1 filtrate Filter area: Max 270 m2 (14 m2 per disc) Filter area
installed: 255 m2 (13 discs installed) Spray water: 1300/1400 lpm at 600 -
700 kPa. The filter can be overhauled and provided with a new repulper screw
at the outlet and new hood in stainless steel. The drive consists of a
Santasalo gear reducer and motor 5.5 kW, 1500 rpm, 400 V, 50 Hz. The
repulper drive is without motor and the motor size should be 7.5 kW. Wetted
parts, hood, and base 316 s/s.
